Questions

What kinds of exercise do you do at B3?

Exercises are specific to the individual's ability and goals. Our trainers make use of bodyweight exercises, traditional weightlifting style, rehabilitation exercises and even athletic training modalities. Ultimately, these styles all focus on functional exercises that work the full body. One muscle group may be emphasized more than others during a session, but the full body will get a work out.

May I use the facility if I am not in session with my trainer?

Yes! However, we ask that you only use the cardio equipment, mat areas, and medicine balls. The free weights and cable machines are reserved for supervised sessions with your personal trainer. We also ask that clients and trainers in session are given priority on all equipment.

What are your hours of operation?

Because we are a private personal training studio, our hours vary based on appointments. For the most part, the gym is open from 6am to 9pm, Monday through Friday, and 8am to 3pm on Saturdays. Reception hours are 8am to 4pm, during the week.

What qualifications do your trainers have?

All of our trainers have a Kinesiology Degree, Phys Ed Degree, or NAIT Personal Training Diploma. Most trainers also have further certification through CSEP, AFLCA, or CanFit Pro, to name a few. We also believe in continuing education and development for our trainers. Exercise science is a growing field, and we need to stay current. As a company, we invest in out-sourced and in-house professional development for our talented exercise specialists.
